It is a pleasure to announce the next congress " CHAMPIONS PALLIATIVE CARE " that will be held in Palermo from april 16th to 18th.
After the successful meetings of SUPEROPIOIDS and STRAPALLITIVE CARE with an increased number of participants, we decided to confirm this annual meeting which will be held the next april 16-18th 2015, in a wonderful place, Mondello, a sea village close to Palermo.
The success of the these meetings were based on the informal atmosphere and a high level of speakers with large experience in research, who were able to provide direct and updated information on pain and symptom management.
The feed-back from the participants was really touching and prompted us to maintain this annul appointment.
This year we invited, other than Palermo’s school and also some Italian colleagues working for years with this group, famous researchers who will provide the best information for the audience, as Dr Bruera coming from Houston. Posters will be accepted and to the first three presentations of high level will be given the opportunity to be presented orally. Please, save the date of this unforgettable event.
Rates: 400 euros (physicians), 200 euros (nurses) plus vat, lunch and dinner with sicilian food included

Cari colleghi,
con piacere vi ricordo l’organizzazione del prossimo congresso "CHAMPIONS PALLIATIVE CARE" che si svolgerà a Palermo dal 16 al 18 aprile 2015. Dopo il successo di SUPEROPIOIDS e STRAPALLITIVE CARE, che hanno visto crescere il numero di partecipanti, abbiamo deciso di confermare questo incontro annuale che si terrà il prossimo aprile, in questo meraviglioso luogo che è Mondello, località marittima di Palermo. Il successo di questi incontri era costituito dall’atmosfera informale e dall’ elevato livello dei relatori che grazie alla grande esperienza nel campo della ricerca, sono stati in grado di fornire informazioni e aggiornamenti nel campo della terapia del dolore. Il feed-back dei partecipanti è stato davvero toccante e tale da mantenere quest’appuntamento annuale.
Quest'anno abbiamo invitato, oltre agli appartenenti alla scuola di Palermo e ad alcuni colleghi italiani che lavorano da anni in questo campo, ricercatori ben noti che apporteranno un grande contributo scientifico al congresso. Avremo una sessione poster e sceglieremo i tre migliori, che verranno poi presentati oralmente. Spero di incontrarti a Palermo ad aprile.
